Returns

1. A buyer who is considered a consumer (natural person) under regulatory acts has the right to exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days from the delivery of the goods, in accordance with regulatory acts. The moment of delivery of the goods corresponds to the moment of order fulfillment specified in the Rules, and it depends on the chosen method of receiving the goods. The right of withdrawal cannot be used for purchases that were not concluded at a distance. 

2. In case of exercising the right of withdrawal, the buyer is obliged to return the goods purchased in the E-shop, covering the costs associated with the return of the goods  or bringing them to our store at Rencēnu iela 10a, Riga. Goods cannot be returned within 14 days if:

  1. the consumer has opened the packaging and/or damaged the protective film of the goods, which cannot be returned for personal hygiene reasons. For example: electric toothbrush, epilator, electric beard trimmer, hair clipper, electric hair cutting machine, in-ear audio headphones, Bluetooth headphones, breathalyzers, and other similar products.
  2. the goods are damaged or do not have a pristine appearance (scratches are visible, etc.);
  3. the goods spoil quickly or are about to expire;
  4. the consumer has opened the packaging of an audio-video recording, computer program, or game.

When receiving goods from the courier, make sure that the packaging is not damaged. If there are damages, be sure to indicate this when receiving the goods from the courier. IMPORTANT: if the existence of a packaging defect is not recorded in the acceptance act at the time of receiving the goods, we will not be able to consider your claim regarding the damages to the packaging and the goods inside it. If the goods arrive in damaged packaging and the claim is NOT filed, it may not be accepted if you decide to withdraw from it within 14 days. 

VERY IMPORTANT: If the packaging was not damaged, but upon opening it, you discovered that:

  • the goods have external damages (for example, a broken screen or casing);
  • the package does not include specified parts (for example, the blender does not have a chopping blade, the laptop charger is missing),

You can exercise your right of withdrawal and submit a claim to us within three days after receiving the goods. All claims submitted after this period will not be considered.

General Warranty Terms

           1.1. All goods sold by SIA IT Sales to natural persons are provided with the manufacturer's warranty as specified in the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia, provided that the operating instructions are followed. Legal entities are provided with the warranty specified by the seller or manufacturer, and in some cases, the term may be one year.

          1.2. During the warranty period specified by the manufacturer, SIA IT Sales or the manufacturer's authorized service center will perform free repair or replacement of damaged parts if the damage occurred during the manufacturing process, construction, or wear and tear, or defects related to the components used. In case of non-warranty, or upon expiration of the warranty period, the customer may be offered paid service repair.

          1.3. When submitting goods for warranty repair, the Customer must attach the warranty certificate issued by the seller, the purchase receipt, or delivery note, indicating the defect of the goods or its manifestation. The warranty document is valid only if it clearly and correctly indicates: the model of the product, the serial number of the goods, the date of sale, the warranty period, a clearly visible imprint of the seller's seal, and the signatures of the seller and buyer. It is prohibited to make any changes, delete or rewrite the data indicated in the warranty certificate - in such a case, the certificate is considered invalid.

          1.4. The consumer can independently deliver the damaged goods to the manufacturer's designated warranty service or bring them to the SIA IT Sales customer service center for warranty repair. If the original packaging is not available, the damaged equipment must be properly packaged so that it is not damaged during transport. All costs for the safe delivery of the product to the SIA IT Sales customer service center or the manufacturer's designated warranty service center are borne by the consumer.

         1.5. To expedite the repair work, it is advisable to submit the product in standard configuration (with accessories, power supply, special cables, etc.).

         1.6. The warranty provider or guarantor fulfills warranty obligations within reasonable timeframes, coordinating the approximate execution time in advance and not causing inconvenience to the consumer (the repair time may be extended by coordinating it with the consumer).

         1.7. The warranty terms do not provide for the replacement of goods during warranty repair, except in cases where the warranty provider cannot fulfill the requirements of point 1.6. The seller is responsible for the possibility of replacing the equipment, coordinating it with the customer in advance.

        1.8. The replaced/repaired equipment retains the previous warranty period.

        1.9. If the defects indicated by the customer cannot be identified in the equipment submitted for warranty repair, or if the warranty repair is not confirmed for the reasons indicated in point 3 of these rules, SIA IT Sales or the manufacturer's authorized service center reserves the right to request compensation from the Customer for the diagnostics performed.

2. Limitations of warranty obligations:

       2.1. Warranty obligations do not apply to any type of software and to the compatibility of various devices, as well as in cases where the malfunction of the goods has been caused by a computer virus.

       2.2. Warranty obligations do not apply to preventive, maintenance, and servicing work on the goods.

       2.3. Warranty obligations do not apply to the Customer's data (data recovery/storage) that is located in the purchased computer equipment or data carriers.

       2.4. Warranty obligations are limited regarding the power elements of the equipment (batteries, accumulators) and other components with limited resources. The warranty period is determined by the manufacturer itself.

3. Warranty obligations do not apply to goods if:

      3.1. The purchase documentation of the goods has not been retained (certificates).

      3.2. The information placed on the factory label is damaged or torn.

      3.3. In cases of mechanical damage.

      3.4. There are damages caused by natural disasters, fire, domestic factors, or accidental external factors.

      3.5. Liquid, dust, or foreign objects have entered the casing of the goods.

      3.6. Damages have occurred as a result of exposure to elevated (inappropriate) power voltage.

       3.7. The goods have been opened, repaired, or modified at an unauthorized service center of SIA IT Sales or the manufacturer.

       3.8. Damages have been caused by the use of non-standard and/or low-quality consumables, spare parts, components, or accessories.

       3.9. Inappropriate cleaning agents have been used for maintenance.

       3.10. The goods are operated in an inappropriate environment (high humidity).

        3.11. The operating instructions for the goods have not been followed. 

4. Warranty does not apply to:

        4.1. Consumables, accessory sets, accessories.

        4.2. If it is necessary to replace filters, batteries, accumulators, fuses, headphones, microphones, hands-free devices, and other product parts and accessories that have a limited resource, if such replacement is provided for by the design and is not related to the disassembly of the product.

        4.3. Cleaning of optical heads and other information reading inputs.

* Installing (assembling, connecting) a product that requires such actions can be done by SIA IT Sales or appropriately qualified service specialists as a paid service. We ask you to pay attention to how important it is to install the product correctly for its operational safety and further full warranty service. The adjustment of the product, the procedure for which is outlined in the operating instructions, is not included in the warranty service.

SIA IT Sales does not assume responsibility for any possible damage that the product (item) may cause directly or indirectly to people, pets, or property if it occurs due to non-compliance with the installation, operating instructions, and conditions of the product.

To avoid misunderstandings, please carefully read the product's operating instructions and check whether the warranty card is filled out correctly. It is prohibited to make any changes, delete, or rewrite the data indicated in the warranty card.
